Shelby and Brandon are a total power couple. Both are police officers, adventurers, and gym enthusiasts. Their wedding was at the Sedona Golf Resort. I love this venue for it’s convenient, less busy location. We were able to sneak away to the hole farthest from everything for some privacy and beautiful views. Emily and Jordan were married at Sedona Golf Resort on a beautiful spring day. They were surrounded by friends and family and there was so much love supporting them. The toasts were especially sweet at this wedding. Jordan’s brother Brett made me cry at the wedding, and then I cried again as I was editing. Full film above, preview below.
Mindy and Dillon delayed their wedding at Sedona Golf Resort from the spring to the fall. As a result, restrictions on gatherings lifted a little (before they were tightened down again later in the fall), and they were able to have friends and family attend their wedding. They certainly made the most of it. The wedding party was probably one of the most enthusiastic I’ve ever worked with. I think everybody was tired of isolation and ready to party.
This wedding had so many wonderful parts. Both wrote letters to each other, and I loved seeing all the similarities in their two letters Both Mindy and Dillon exclaimed “it’s long!” about the other person’s letter. Dillon was sure he would cry when Mindy walked down the aisle and he totally did. Watch the wedding film or preview to see and hear this part.
Their ceremony threatened to be rainy, but the wedding gods held off the rain and even brought out a rainbow for part of the ceremony. It was still pretty windy, but at the end of the day, it didn’t matter.
The ceremony was followed by a romantic portrait session on one of the beautiful holes at Sedona Golf Resort. We all drove golf carts to the location and laughed like children the whole way. After, there was a fabulous entrance, complete with a a wedding party tunnel, speeches, first dances, cake cutting, killer dance party, and sparkler exit. I love my elopements, but wow, big weddings are so much fun. Congratulations Mindy and Dillon! Full film above, preview below.
Ashley and Andrew were married on one of the rainiest days in the last two years. It wasn’t sprinkling but was pouring all morning and early afternoon. It was even snowing in Flagstaff. The wedding was still set to go on, so I brought my husband to be my umbrella holder. Even as I set up my tripods for the ceremony, it was still raining. And then, a wedding miracle took place. The rain stopped, and the sun came out. When Ashley came out to walk down the aisle, she was so surprised by the sunshine, she cried. The rain held off for a good 2 hours, and by the time we were back inside for dinner and toasts, the rain started again. I was so happy for them, and, as an added bonus, the clouds over the red rock were absolutely stunning.
This was my first wedding at Sedona Golf Resort, and I can’t wait to go back.
