Kaitlyn and Greg had the most stunning wedding at L’Auberge de Sedona. Before their ceremony, they had a first look by the creek, followed by heartfelt, private vows. They then snuggled with their adorable golden doodle. Their ceremony was up on the Vista Terrace, followed by a reception at The Creekhouse. The details of the entire day were unbelievably beautiful. Jill and Luke came from Texas to elope in Sedona with a few close friends. One of my favorite details was Jill’s bouquet. Each of her elementary students made her a colorful tissue paper flower and put together, they made the most vibrant bouquet. My favorite moment was after the first look. Jill told Luke she got her dress from Facebook Marketplace and they both laughed over love of a good deal. This elopement was full of energy, laughter, and love. Congratulations Jill and Luke! Alanna and Jaeden traveled from Kentucky to get married with their closest family friends near Bell Rock. They have two young children, as did a few of their friends, and at one point during the ceremony, all the kids were crying. Alanna and Jaeden laughed about it during the ceremony and said they 100% knew this would happen. The bridesmaids and groomsmen were the ultimate hype team. From the first look to the explosion of energy as they were pronounced man and wife, these are the kind of people you want backing you up. There were so many sweet moments from Emily and Casey’s Agave of Sedona wedding. There was a lot of mention of Emily’s father, who has passed away. He is clearly very missed, and during the ceremony, there was a beautiful finch that kept fluttering over the audience, perching and keeping watch. He stuck around for family portraits after, and it truly felt like a sign, a symbol, a coincidence, something for sure. I also just loved their vows and felt grateful that not only do I get to capture how a wedding looks, but how it sounds, and how it feels. We snuck away for some stunning portraits at sunset with photographer Haily Golich and the lighting was magic. This wedding was planned by Casey Green Weddings, and she is phenomenal. Shelby and Brandon are a total power couple. Both are police officers, adventurers, and gym enthusiasts. Their wedding was at the Sedona Golf Resort. I love this venue for it’s convenient, less busy location. We were able to sneak away to the hole farthest from everything for some privacy and beautiful views. Faye and Keshav traveled to Sedona from NYC for their incredible wedding at Amara Resort. The wedding was a beautiful blending of family, culture, tradition and love. One of my favorite things about weddings is witnessing the outpouring of love and support from family and friends. Showing up with unconditional love is one of the best things we can do. Amanda and Paul’s wedding was my last for 2021. Amanda’s details were absolutely incredible. From her flower crown to the donuts, to the largest tent I’ve ever seen at a wedding (by far) and the gorgeous flowers climbing up the post that supported the tent. A highlight of the wedding was watching Amanda put on her flower crown for the first time and seeing her face light up as her wedding dreams came true.
Paul and Amanda had to delay their Sedona wedding for almost a year due to COVID. They did get married on their original date in an intimate ceremony with family back on the other side of the country. Their Sedona wedding celebration was just a year shy of their anniversary, and I believe it was also Amanda’s birthday! This was a great way to end my 2021 wedding season! Taylor and Kyle finally got to celebrate their wedding after COVID foiled their original plans. They eloped at a courthouse several months before the wedding, but waited to celebrate with friends and family. The wait was worth it and their ceremony was beautiful. Taylor’s first look with her father was one of my favorite wedding moments ever. The vows were so heartfelt and having their loved ones there to witness their love was powerful. The toasts and dances at the reception brought with them all the emotions you hope to feel at a wedding. There was laughter, tears, good food and drink, and a wild dance floor.
The wedding was held at Agave of Sedona, and this venue delivers every time. The views are some of the best from any venue in town, the reception area has large windows and room for dancing, there is a full kitchen, and the patio brings extra space for guests to mingle and enjoy the fresh air.

I met Maggie and Greg at a Flagstaff coffee shop to talk about their wedding vision. As soon as Greg started talking about highlining in his wedding attire to Maggie waiting in her gown, I knew it was going to epic, and I got really excited.
They eloped with their closest family and friends on top of a mountain with some of the best views in Sedona. Greg absolutely nailed his walk on the highline to Maggie, and their vision became a total reality. There was a tarantula, a rainbow, a whole lot of Chacos, and the most supportive family and friends. After, we headed down the mountain by headlamp to a festive pizza dinner in the parking lot. An ideal day for sure.

Audra and Rob’s wedding at Seven Canyons Golf Club was so beautiful. This is an incredible venue packed with great views, a friendly staff, an epic ceremony location, and a fabulous reception area. Full film above, preview below.
Sarah and Kyle are living life to the fullest. They have lived in Hawaii together, are now in Florida, and seek for meaningful experiences above all else. They were married at Sky Ranch Lodge. After the ceremony, we headed to Airport Vortex for sunset portraits. On the way back, the traffic back up to Mesa Grill was terrible. At first we stressed, but then we embraced the chill time together in the Jeep. We lowered the roof and Sarah and Kyle had a blast standing up as we crept along, waving to all the cheering tourists. It was kind of like a mini parade. Sarah later told me that was one of her favorite parts of the day.
The reception was held at Mesa Grill. It was my first time filming there, and the views and vibe were fabulous. The weather was perfect, the dance floor large, the lighting great. Vita and Jason came from New Jersey to get married in Sedona, and they brought their family and friends with them. They had the best energy, accents, and I laughed when their friends told me how terrible the pizza in Sedona was, although Vita thought it tasted delicious (hooray for everything being great on your wedding day). I loved Vita’s first look with her father. I also loved when Jason fed her cake, kind of like a parent feeds a toddler. She gave him quite the look for that. The dance party after dinner was one that will be hard to rival, and of course, the opening speech in this wedding film is one of my favorites ever. I love a good wedding speech. Meagan and Blaine traveled from Texas to elope in Sedona. I loved the style of this wedding. From their son’s cowboy hat and belt buckle, to Meagan’s bare feet and Blaine’s suit coat with jeans. It just seemed so authentic to who they are. This lovely elopement was planned by Weddings in Sedona with photography by Monica Saatay. Preview above, film will be kept private.

Bridget and Nick had quite the wedding day. They got ready separately at the lovely Enchantment Resort. Bridget with her ladies, blaring Taylor Swift, and Nick with his best man and future brothers in law. Once everyone was ready, we all headed into 4x4 vehicles, I think there were 5, and caravanned up to Merry Go Round Rock. It takes a good chunk of time as this road is ridiculously bumpy. Once we got up the mountain, Bridget and Nick had their first touch on the side of the Jeep. We then got Nick to the cliffside for the ceremony. He was so excited to see her and the anticipation had really been built up. I love this part of the film!
It was extremely windy that day. Extremely. Sand was blowing in our eyes, hair was going crazy, and I kept blowing dust off the front of my lens. We were trying to see if it would die down, but it soon became clear that it definitely wasn’t going to, so the show went on. I swear this was the windiest spring! Thank goodness for my lapel mics so I could ensure high quality audio.
After their beautiful ceremony, Nick and Bridget had the greatest celebratory cheer- another of my favorite parts. Lucas flew drone during the portrait session and amazingly was able to get footage with 50 mph guests. After the sunset we headed down the mountain and back to Enchantment for the reception.
Bridget is a ray of sunshine full of laughter and life. Nick was so kind and loving. Together, their joy was contagious. Congratulations Nick and Bridget. Full film above, preview below.
Alyssa and Zack had a beautiful micro wedding at L’Auberge de Sedona. They were married on the Spirit Song Terrace with a gorgeous reception near the creek. Every single detail—from the invitations to the place settings—was absolutely lovely.
Alyssa and Zack are high school sweethearts. They met in Spanish class (he was the class clown), were a little off and on, but then ON for good. They spent time apart while Zack served in the Air Force, which only made their love grow stronger. Both of their mothers gave lovely speeches, and their first dance against the stunning setting was absolutely beautiful. Also, I am in love with the sleeves of her gown. When I was in high school, I wore my mom’s high school graduation dress. It was white, knee length, and had bell sleeves. I loved that dress and am wondering where it is now…
